The piece draws the attention to the mother’s relationship, which plays an important role in every body’s life. Moreover, it focuses on two major and similar figures, which are Isis and Maria. Some believes that there is a strong relationship between both of them finding similarities between the seated Isis holding her child Horus and Maria. Moreover, there are some opinions suggest that Isis worship in late Roman times was an influence behind the Catholic development of the Virgin Maria.
